Original Native Americans had a beautiful historical attitude toward creation, toward the world, toward people. They believed in the Great Spirit, that the Great Spirit fills all things, and they are part of it all. So the lake is their sister, their brother. The animals, the flowers, the trees, the sky, the stars, and the people. All are seen together. Some people, in order to discover God or their Great Spirit read books. But there is a great book: The very appearance of created things. Look above you, Look below you, go into the forest, into the mountains. Set your soul free.
